DRESS POLICY for QUINCEAÑERAS / POLIZA de VESTUARIO para QUINCEAÑERAS
The following dress policy is to be used as a guide when choosing attire for the Quinceañera, her court, her sponsors, parents and anyone else directly involved in the celebration of the Quinceañera ceremony.
The goal in dressing for the Quinceañera ceremony should not be to attract undue attention to oneself. Attire should be modest and should reflect the solemnity of the liturgy out of respect for the sanctity of the Church. Reverence to God and to God’s holy people should be given at all times.
La siguiente póliza de vestuario debe ser usado como una guía al elegir el vestuario para la Quinceañera, su corte (damas), sus madrinas, mama y cualquier otra persona directamente involucrada en la celebración de la ceremonia de Quinceañera.
El objetivo en vestir para la ceremonia de Quinceañera no debería ser de llamar la atención excesiva a uno. El vestuario debería ser modesto y debería reflejar la solemnidad de la liturgia del respeto para la santidad de la Iglesia. La reverencia a Dios y a la gente santa de Dios debería ser dada siempre.
With this said, the following styles of dress are NOT permitted:
Los siguientes estilos de vestido No Son permitidos:
- Strapless * / Vestidos sin tirante *
- Backless / Vestidos sin espalda
- Spaghetti Straps * (straps must be at least 2 inches wide)
- Tirantes muy delgados * (los tirantes deben ser de 2”(pulgadas) de ancho o mas)
- Low-cut front bodices / Vestidos con mucho escote
- Short dresses (dresses must be no higher than knee length)
- Vestidos cortos (deben ser no mas alto que el nivel de la rodilla)
Shawls may be used, but must cover bare shoulders at ALL times.
Vestidos sin tirante o con tirante Delgado son permitidos solamente si están cubiertos con una chaqueta.
The use of safety pins is strongly encouraged to avoid constant slipping of shawls.
Los rebozos pueden ser usados, pero deben cubrir los hombros desnudos siempre. Se sugiere fuertemente que usen seguros para evitar el deslizamiento constante.
Strapless gowns or dresses with spaghetti straps are permitted only
if they are covered with a Jacket.
It is our wish to make your Quinceañera celebration as special and memorable as you deserve. However, our Dress Policy will be strictly enforced. If Quinceañera’s (or anyone in her party) dress attire is deemed inappropriate by the deacon or our Quinceañera administrator, necessary steps will be taken to ensure that proper reverence is given to the Church.
Es nuestro deseo de hacer su celebración de Quinceañera tan especial y memorable como usted lo merece. Sin embargo, nuestra Póliza de Vestuario será estrictamente enforzada.
Si el vestuario de la Quinceañera (o cualquier otra persona en su ceremonia) es juzgado inadecuado por el diácono o nuestra administradora de Quinceañeras, las medidas necesarias serán tomadas para asegurar que la reverencia apropiada es dada a la Iglesia.
Actions may include: providing you with shawls, which may NOT match your current attire, banning those inappropriately dressed from participating in the liturgy or CANCELATION of the Quinceañera ceremony altogether.
Las acciones pueden incluir: proveerle rebozos que pueden o no emparejar su vestuario actual, el prohibir aquella persona que esta inapropiadamente vestida de participar en la liturgia o la CANCELACIÓN de ceremonia de Quinceañera.
