St Vincent Ferrer Faith Formation

The Faith Formation program of St. Vincent Ferrer Parish strives to provide adults, youth, and children with the knowledge, experiences, and skills necessary to become faithful disciples of Jesus. In keeping with their age and ability, they will assume responsibility as vital members of the parish and be able to participate in the Parish’s mission to develop a community of worship and praise, and serve the Kingdom of God.

Welcome!  Formation in the  Catholic tradition is a life-long process. For that reason St. Vincent Ferrer offers ongoing Faith Formation opportunities for all ages. We focus on lectionary-based catechesis, teaching the Sunday Mass readings and their meanings along with understanding the teachings of the Catholic faith from an age-appropriate point of view.

But as always, we cannot accomplish this immense task alone. We ask that all parents make time to participate in the process by volunteering in some way. There are opportunities to assist by teaching classes, chaperoning youth during retreats, and volunteering for committees to plan and carry out various events. Ask in the Faith Formation office for further details.
